As a successful Navajo Businessman with six air, helicopter and tourism businesses, Lionel remains firmly committed to Navajo principles. This commitment to the land Lionel first learned from his grandmother, Pearl Begay who is now 101. Her connection to the Universe and the impact that she’s had on his life made Lionel dedicate this photograph to his grandmother – known within the Navajo Community as “Matriarch of the Canyon”. his photo also reflects the outline of a bear, which is also the logo of The Adventurous Group – Lionel’s Travel Businesses.
